Hilpoltstein is a city in Middle Franconia in the district Roth and is located about 30 km south of Nuremberg, near Lake Rothsee. The origin of the city goes back to 1000 years ago, when the castle was built. Around the city Hilpoltstein in recent years have built a very varied and interesting bicycle paths. Particularly attractive is the path Hilpoltstein-Roth, where you can travel up to 39 km in several stages.
SportsFun offer for parents with children is wide, whether it´s biking, hiking, miniature golf, horseback riding, tennis courts, sports halls, or large swimming pool. Each year is in the city sport action Duathlon (swim and run).

The present parish church was built between 1725 and 1736 on the place of previous building of the chapel, which was burned during the Thirty Years War.
