The Frankfurter Roemer is one of the most beautiful Town Halls in the republic and for over 600 years the seat of city government. Here are the duty room of the Mayor, the Chamber of the City Council and the meeting hall of the Municipality. Between year 1998 and 2000 there was built and designed the "Forest Spiral" by the famous artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
