The Frankfurter Roemer is one of the most beautiful Town Halls in the republic and for over 600 years the seat of city government. Here are the duty room of the Mayor, the Chamber of the City Council and the meeting hall of the Municipality. Walking through the historic rooms of the Goethe House is not only childhood and youth of the great poet. Today, his birthplace is also connected with a good museum. Between year 1998 and 2000 there was built and designed the "Forest Spiral" by the famous artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The revolutionary, colorful and full of every shape architecture is shown here in all its glory. In the tower at the southeast corner there is a restaurant and cocktail bar, situated in the opposite tower café.
