SightsBesides the river Karišnica flows through Gornji Karin also stream Bijela Rijeka (White River). According to some reports, in Roman times there was building of an amphitheater for holding gladiatorial games. In Gornji Karin and surroundings there are several sights. One of them is a river Kraka canyon and waterfalls of Bijela Rijeka, as well as the Franciscan monastery, a natural mud and National Park.

Vodice has a variety of pebble and sandy beaches. Vodice was first mentioned in 1402 although it was founded already in the Roman times as Arausa. The defense walls from the times of the Turks with the Coric tower testify the past times.
