SightsThe Old Palace is located in the center of Stuttgart - it is a water castle from the 10th century. SightsEllwangen Palace Museum contains magnificent rooms of valuable Schrezheim faience (pottery), baroque nativity scenes, clock and rooms for dolls. Great art-historical significance has the church of St. Vitus (ordained on the October the 3rd, 1233), which dominates the city. It is a three-aisled cross basilica from 12th century and is considered the most important Romanesque basilica with vaults in Swabia. Numerous lakes around Ellwangen guarantee water recreation and entertainment.
