Kiel is the capital of the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, district Kiel. The sea goes back to the very heart of the city. IslandIn the west Baltrum is separated by sea Wichter Ee from Norderney and in the east by sea Accumer Ee from Langeoog. They say, that the island called Baltrum because it were so small that was „bald rum“ („soon rum“). This alludes to the small size of the island. However, a complete circumnavigation of the island is about 15 km.

Velbert is a large district town belonging to a county Mettmann, which is approximately 20 kilometers northeast of the North Rhine-Westphalia´s capital Düsseldorf, 18 km south of Essen and 12 kilometers northwest of Wuppertal on the left side of the Ruhr river in Germany. It has around 85,000 inhabitants. Velbert is located on the hills of the Bergisch land and is also called "the heart of the green countryside". It lies about 230 meters above sea level.
