Kiel

Kiel is the capital of the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, district Kiel. The sea goes back to the very heart of the city. The largest piece of nature in Kiel is the fjord with its beaches. The maritime city with its port facilities, the huge passenger ferries and the enormous cranes on the docks - this is typical Kiel.

Sights

You will find here the old botanical garden with grown trees, Computer Museum, Technical Museum, the Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy, Zoological Museum, Opera House, St. Nicholas Church, water tower Ravensberg ...... etc. The Municipal Theatre of Kiel with Opera House is the largest cultural institution in the city. In the city is a team of handball THH Kiel, which currently competes in the German First League of Handball.
