Lörrach is a district town in southwestern Baden-Württemberg. It is the largest city in the district Lörrach. In the nearby surroundings are Black Forest, the Rhine valley and the city of Basel and Weil am Rhein.

Gehlberg is located in county Ilm-Kreis in the region Thuringia. Gehlberg lies on the northern slopes of the Thuringian Forest on a plateau between the valleys Wilder Gera and Zahmer Gera.
