Bad Reichenhall is a large district and county city in the district Berchtesgadener Land in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria. The city is surrounded on all sides by mountains.

You will find the parish church of St. Nicholas with the three-aisled Romanesque basilica from the second half of the 12th century with frescoes in the apse and with the Way of the Cross by Moritz von Schwind.
