Wittenburg is a town in the district Ludwigslust-Parchim. A small town in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania is located on the small Motel River. 

You will find the church of St. Bartholomew, which was built in 1240. Early Gothic three-aisled hall church is built of bricks. The old city is surrounded by well preserved walls. The tower and walls of the former fortifications comes from 13 and 14 century. Erdholländer windmill was built in 1890 on the foundations of already spent mill.

Alpine Centre Hamburg-Wittenburg was opened in December 2006 in Wittenburg. It is the indoor ski slope and snow park in the hall with a length of over 300 meters.

Parchim is the same district town of the district Parchim and located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the town there are various cultural facilities (cinema, theater).

Through the town flows the river Elde. Among the most interesting buildings in the city includes the building of the former City Savings Bank, built in 1934/35, today it houses the Dresdner Bank. Church of St. Mary is parish church hall, located in the Neustadt. Arches and pillars dating from the 14th century. City Hall in the Old Market is a long two-storey brick building, originally dating from the 14th century. Zinnhaus on the Langenstrasse 24th was built in 1612, is the second oldest surviving secular building in Parchim. Parchim International airport is close to baltic port of Rostock, Wismar and Lübeck.

Alt Schwerin is a village in the western part of Mecklenburg Lakes Region in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in district Müritz / Mecklenburg Lake District. Alt Schwerin is located at the Lake Tauchow See and between the lakes Drewitzer See and Plauer See. There is a good condition form camping. It is under the administration of the town Malchow.

Also worth seeing is the baroque castle from 1773. Alt Schwerin is a tourist-oriented village. You will find there two hotels, two camping sites, restaurants and bike trails in a natural park Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heide. Agricultural Museum Agroneum shows the historical development of agriculture in Mecklenburg.
