Hirschaid is a small town in Upper Franconia in the district Bamberg and is located about twelve kilometers south of the city of Bamberg on the river Regnitz.

Attractions

In the urban areas are two breweries still in operation today. You will find the parish church of St. Vitus, the municipal library, center for teenagers and the castle Sassanfahrt. In May 2000 there was opened Frankenlagune pool, which has 82 square meters large swimming pool with Jacuzzi, 66 square meters large outdoor pool with hot water and 38 square meters large swimming pool for mothers with children.
