Thum is a city in Saxony district Erzgebirgskreis. In the beautiful countryside on the northern slope of the plateau Greifenstein and in the valley Wilisch and Jahnsbach lies a mountain town Thum. In the town there is the Church of St. Anne, which was destroyed in 1945 and from 1947 to 1951 was corrected. Between 1886 and 1975 the city was a center of a few narrow-gauge railway lines in the Ore Mountains.
Weather Thum AccommodationBeierfeld is from 1 January 2005 newly formed city from Grünhain-Beierfeld in the Ore Mountain´s rural district Erzgebirgskreis in Saxony. Beierfeld has with his district Waschleithe about 4080 inhabitants. Beierfeld was created as a part of the settlement of the Ore Mountains as Waldhufen village and was first mentioned in documents as Beiervelt. It came into possession of Grünhainer monastery. In 1301 first church called Peter and Paul´s Church should be built before the founding of the monastery and is considered one of the oldest parish churches of the Ore Mountains.
