Podstrana is a municipality and settlement in Croatia in the Split-Dalmatia County. The settlement is housed in a fairly rural landscape considering its proximity to the nearby city of Split (c. 8 km away).
PodstranaPeach growing has been replaced by tourism which is now the dominant sector for the population. Podstrana experiences a hot-summer Mediterranean climate with extremely long periods of sunshine throughout the year. Summers are very hot during the day, and hot in the summer nights.

There is a 12 km-long promenade along the entire riviera, the Lungomarefrom Volosko, via Opatija, to Lovran. Trogir is a historic town andharbour on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County. Trogir is situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island of Čiovo. It lies 27 kilometres west of the city of Split.
SightsTrogir has a 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its culture was created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, and Venetians. Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island, and in 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
