Amberg is a district town in the Upper Palatinate in eastern Bavaria in Germany in the district of the same name Amberg. The historical town Amberg is one of the best preserved medieval town complexes in Europe. One of the best known and most beautiful characteristic symbols of the city Amberg are "Amberg town glasses ",arched bridge over the river Vils, which once served as the city''s fortifications. Double belt of the city walls with towers and gates, the Gothic Town Hall with Renaissance body, massive churches and numerous other historical buildings form a unique look of the city.
