Sights

The mill tower is a part of ancient fortification and it is an important part of the historic town center of Kranenburg. It was built as part of the city walls with a total of 9 towers in 1400. In addition, you can visit the pilgrimage church of St. Peter and Paul, Katharinenhof museum and the old abbey, which now exhibits an interesting collection of art. The comfortable cafes and restaurants in and around the historic village can terminate your local visit. The large flocks of wintering arctic geese in the Lower Rhine are a symbol of nature protection in the Lower Rhine.
