Alstätte is a village near the town of Ahaus in western Münsterland, in the district Borken, in the northwest of North Rhine-Westphalia. Alstatte is situated on the river Alstätter Aa, a tributary of the River Issel, about ten miles northwest from the town of Ahaus on the Dutchborder.
