Hanseatic city of Lübeck is a city in northern Germany and southeast of Schleswig-Holstein on the Baltic Sea, in the district Lübeck. The medieval town center is a UNESCO world Heritage Site. The city center is a tourist destination, especially interesting is the oldest part of Lübeck. It lies mostly on the island between the river Trave and the Wakenitz. The city is also called "City of Seven Towers" and "Gateway to the North." Port of Lübeck is Germany´s largest port in the Baltic Sea. It connects Lübeck with Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltic States.

From the tower the chime sounds daily at 12 a.m. The town hall was a long time the university „Collegium Universititas“. Market at the Cathedral on the Munsterplatz (Cathedral Square) in Freiburg. Only 1 km from Merzhausen there is the Museum of Contemporary Art - it is the Art Museum of the City Museum in Freiburg im Breisgau. This building is located in the Marienstrasse 10a, it is housed in the former public school for girls -Adelhausen. The building was built in 1902 in a historic style and in 1984-1985 rebuilt by the Adelhauser foundation for the new use.
