Rodenbach is a municipality in the district Main-Kinzig in the county of Hessen. Rodenbach is near Hanau, about 20 km east of Frankfurt am Main on the edge of Vorspessarts and is mostly surrounded by forest, which is part of the Hessian Spessart nature park. Both districts lie on the same name river Bach, known in its lower reaches as a Lache. It flows southwest the Rodenbach through Bulau and there opens into the Kinzig, which flows north over the direction of Hanau to Rodenbach. The nearest major town next to Hanau is Langenselbold.

AttractionsEvangelical Church of the Apostles is the oldest church building in the city. The Martin Luther Church was built in 1857-1861 by architect Christian Heyden. It is a neo-Gothic hall church with western tower. The interior is equipped with a rotating gallery and a chandelier from the 1659th hangs here. The Water Tower was put into operation in 1888 and was temporarily used as a café.
