Bad Dürkheim is located on the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest on the German Wine Road, about 30 km east of Kaiserslautern, and about 20 km west of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. Approximately 15 km south of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Through Bad Dürkheim run the federal highways 37 and 271. From west to east the Isenach river flows through the city.
