Munich is the capital city of Bavaria. It is with 1.35 million inhabitants largest city in Bavaria and the third largest city in Germany. The highest point of Munich is at the extreme southern border in the district Solln. The lowest point is at the extreme northern border in the district Feldmoching in the east of the nature protection area Schwarzhölzl located in Hölzl Feldmoching-Oberschleissheim, water level about 480 m above sea.
