Oberammergau is a small town in Upper Bavaria district Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is located in the Ammer River valley about 20 km north of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is situated in the foothills of the Ammergauer Alps, it is a popular climatic health resort, known winter sports resort and famous woodcarving center.

Oberammergau is known mainly thanks to the Passion plays, which are repeated every ten years and last were held in 2010.

Frasdorf is a village in the district of Upper Bavaria Rosenheim on western foothills of the Chiemgau Alps in Germany.

Notable are the four city churches: Church of Holy Blood in Umrathshausen, the Church of Christ the King in Wildenwart and the Church of St. Margaret, as well as the Gothic pilgrimage church of St. Florian. The karst landscape Laubstein with caves is also important. There is The Museum of household and culture, The Cave Museum and the local village museum in Frasdorf. The castle Wildenwart lies above the valley of the river Prien.

The Nuremberg Zoo is an approximately 67-acre landscaped on the outskirts of Nuremberg in the Lorenz Imperial forest located on Schmausenbuck. It held about 250 animal species, including many endangered species.
