Oberwesel is a city on the river Rhine. It is located in Rhineland-Palatinate in the district Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis. Oberwesel now boasts the most extensive remains above the city walls, in the middle of the Rhine. In the middle of the Rhine is the largest wine-growing village Oberwesel. There is the Gothic church of the Virgin Mary and St. Martin.

Cochem castle

Town

Metropolis, the city of Cochem with its landmark, the 1,000-year-old imperial castle. A further constituent centre, Brauheck, with its commercial area, air force barracks and new town development, lies in the heights of the Eifel on Bundesstraße 259. Emptying into the Moselle in Cochem are the Kraklebach, the Ebernacher Bach, the Sehlerbach, the Falzbach, the Märtscheltbach and the Enthetbach. Lots of driving and fun attractions for all ages.
