Goslar is a city in the ferderal country Lower Saxony. It has the status of a large independent city and district town Goslar. The city lies on the northwestern tip of the Harz mountains with Rammelsberg mountain and the southernmost end of the ridge Salzgitter.

Bispingen lies about 15 km northeast of the town of Soltau at exit 43 of the A7 motorway. For tourists is Bispingen surroundings known primarily as a recreational area and nature reserve.
