Adenau is a town in the district of Ahrweiler in the Land of Rheinland-Palatine. Adenau is the metropolis of the motorsport community at Nürburgring.
SightsThere are beautifully preserved historical buildings on the square in the city center, some of them are historically protected. The fountain is made of basalt. To the south of Adenau there is a castle with a massive tower from the 12th century with many turrets and arches of basalt.
