The Tonnerhütte is located at the foot of the Zirbitzkogel in the Seetal Alps. A starting point of many hiking trails, it offers a spa programme with many activities. Spa facilities at Almwellness Tonnerhütte include a natural swimming pond, a heated outdoor pool made of wood, a sauna, and a selection of massages and beauty treatments. The restaurant serves traditional regional specialities and Styrian and Austrian wines. There is also a lounge with an open fireplace and a tiled stove. Wi-Fi access in public areas and parking are available free of charge. Guided hikes and Nordic walking tours, as well as various activities for children such as pony riding and excursions with a donkey, are organised regularly. Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Tonnerhütte is located at 1,600 metres above sea level on the border between Styria and Carinthia.
