Information about Wee Row Hostel

Just 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow, this hostel is situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of New Lanark, a 200-year-old conservation village. There is free parking on site, and guests can visit the nearby Falls of Clyde waterfalls, just a mile away. There are plenty of picturesque walking and climbing routes in the area that surrounds Wee Row Hostel, including Tinto Hill, just 15 minutes’ drive south of the building. The Annie McLeod Experience is less than a minute’s walk from the building. Rooms in this historic building are simple in design, and come with an en suite shower room. All boast picturesque river views. WiFi is available in public areas for an additional charge, and guests at Wee Row Hostel can relax in the lounge. There is also a self-catering shared kitchen, as well as a dining area.

Please note that any check-in outside the specified hours is available with prior arrangement. This information can be requested during booking within the Special Request box. SYHA is a charity aiming to inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gain knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery. In support of this aim, all bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of SYHA and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund). From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be accommodated in a single-gender shared room with the parent or guardian and other guests, at the discretion and responsibility of the parent or guardian. The young person/people, the parent/guardian and the other occupants of the room must be of the same gender. SYHA advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation. Parties with young children (under 5 years) will only be accommodated in designated family rooms, where available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots in a shared dormitory or private accommodation. No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel. Depending on location check-in is either 15.00 or 17.00. Please check these times as stated on your reservation (or on Booking.com) before arrival. SYHA does not accept American Express cards as payment or guarantee. Refunds: should you be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by SYHA National Office, Stirling. It will take 7 to 10 working days from the date of us receiving your request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.
