Information about Rokusho-an

An entire 2-storey Japanese-style Machiya Townhouse can be rented at Rokusho-an. Guests can sit out by the private traditional garden and enjoy complimentary local green tea or coffee. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and Gion Shijo Train Station is a 14-minute walk away. The townhouse comes with a bedroom with wooden floors and Western beds, and some guests sleep in a room with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a humidifier are provided. Guests can use the fridge, microwave and electric kettle to make light snacks. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free local branded amenities. Rokusho-an Inn is a 10-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine and a 14-minute walk from Chion-in Temple. Kiyomizu Temple is also a 10-minute walk away and JR Kyoto Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. No meals are served. Reservations must be paid in full in advance via J-Reserve payment system (see Important Information for details).

Credit card will be used for guarantee purposes only. Once the booking has been made, the property will contact guests directly via email regarding payment procedures. Guests must pay in advance by credit card, using the online Japanese payment system J-Reserve. The property will e-mail instructions after the booking is completed. After that, payment must be completed within 3 days to guarantee the booking. If payments are not made, the reservations may be canceled. You must inform the hotel in advance what time you plan to check in. If your check-in time changes, please update the hotel. Please inform Rokusho-an in advance of your expected arrival time.
