Quick description

Situated on the banks of the Owenriff river in Oughterard, Co. Galway, Camillaun Lodge B&B features a full-size floodlit tennis court, a spa bath and direct access to Lough Corrib by boat from the garden. Free Wi-Fi, an en suite bathroom and a TV are provided in each room at Camillaun Lodge, as well as views over the countryside. A home-cooked full Irish breakfast is served in the dining room, and includes locally made sausages and homemade brown bread. Views of the tree-lined river can be enjoyed as guests enjoy their food. A full-size snooker table and reading area are also available. Historical and ecological Tours of Lough Corrib can be organised by the B&B owners, who can also advise on fishing trips. The picturesque village of Oughterard can be reached in a 15-minute walk and features a 16th-century Irish tower house and an 18-hole championship golf course.
