Information about Hotel Catania

Hotel Catania is a Victorian residence located on the seafront of the town of Scarborough. It was built in 1880 and overlooks the North Sea and Scarborough Castle. There is a large on-site car park offering free private parking. Rooms within the Catania are decorated using neutral colours and some offer sea views. Each room is equipped with flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom. For special occasions rooms can include chocolates, flowers or wine on request. Guests can take advantage of the public areas, including a dining room and garden with seating area. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and there is also a good selection of books, games and beach toys should guests desire them. The Blue Flag North Bay beach is a quarter of a mile from the hotel and the oriental themed Peasholm Park is only 5 minutes away on foot. Scarborough town centre is just half a mile away and Scarborough Rail Station is a mile from the hotel.

Large group bookings and stag/hen parties are not accepted. Please note due to the layout and age of the building we do not have a lift and there may be many stairs to your room. Please enquire if you have a problem.
