In the heart of Cheddar, in scenic Somerset, this YHA Hostel is a 20-minute walk from the magnificent Cheddar Gorge. It features a traditional restaurant and large, leafy gardens. YHA Cheddar has spacious dormitory bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities, and the majority of rooms contain bunk beds. There is also a colourful guest lounge, and on-site laundry facilities are available. The conservatory restaurant serves hearty meals, light snacks and continental breakfasts. There is also a cosy bar and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering guests. YHA Cheddar is located 5.5 miles from the Mendip Activity Centre, where guests can enjoy watersports, rock climbing and snowsports. Evening meals will not available to purchase at the hostel between 01 November 2016 and 10 February 2017. All guests must show a valid photo ID upon check-in. Driver’s license, passport, student ID or similarly recognised national identity cards are accepted. Group bookings: All bookings for 17 people or more cannot be accepted by YHA. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own. Please note this property does not charge an additional temporary membership fee.
