Information about Esplanade Lodge

Esplanade Lodge is set in the heart of Whitley Bay, a 2-minute walk from Whitley Bay's sea front. It offers free WiFi in the rooms and free parking. Flexible check-in time is offered via a self check-in system, allowing guests to arrive and access their rooms any time after 13:00. Each bedroom at the Esplanade is individually decorated and has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is served in the morning. A range of restaurants and bars can be found a short walk away from the Esplanade Lodge Guest House. The Metro station is a 2-minute walk away.

Please note that there are only 2 parking bays. There is however free on street parking. In order to offer more flexibility to guests, this property offers a self check-in service. Once a guest has made a booking, they will be contacted via text or email and given a code for the key storage. Please inform Esplanade Lodge in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
