Holmlea Guest House has individually designed bedrooms with en-suite and private shower rooms, just 400 metres from the city walls and less than 20 minutes' walk to the York Shambles. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Ironing facilities and hairdryers are available. There are ground-floor rooms with easy access for the partially disabled. A complimentary breakfast consisting of toast, jams, yoghurt, fruit and juice is served in the guest rooms. Gluten and lactose free options can be arranged prior to arrival, while wine, flowers and chocolate can also be ordered on request. Holmlea Guest House is a 10-minute walk from the centre of York via Skeldergate Bridge. It has 24-hour access and is a quiet base near to restaurants, bars and pubs. York Railway Station is a 15 minutes' walk away. York Minster is located 1.3 miles away from the property and York Racecourse is 1.6 miles away.

Guests can arrive from 10:00, but the rooms will not be ready at this time. However, guests may store luggage and park cars in the meantime. For guests checking in after 13:00, a digital check-in system is available. Please contact Holmlea in advance if you will be arriving by car. There is a limited number of parking permits which can be reserved (subject to availability) for an additional GBP 5 per stay. Please let the owner know at the time of booking if you require a permit. Alternatively, free parking is located a short walk away from Holmlea.
