The Herold is a family-run spa, golf and seminar hotel in the centre of Maria Lankowitz in Western Styria. This stylishly furnished 3-storey hotel features an excellent restaurant serving Styrian, Austrian and international dishes, as well as a hotel bar and a big seminar room. Spa facilities include a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium and massages. The Maria Lankowitz pilgrimage church, the Piber stud (home to the Lipizzan horses) and the Therme Nova (thermal spa) in Köflach are in the immediate vicinity. Guests of Hotel Herold receive a 50% reduction on the daily admission fee to the Therme Nova, which is 1 km away (free shuttle service). Golf players receive a 20% reduction for the green fee at the nearby “Erzherzog Johann” golf course.
