Information about Fujiya

Located a 10-minute drive from Hirayu Bus Terminal in the Okuhida Onsen hot-spring area, Fujiya offers a taste of old Japan with a traditional Hyakusho Zashiki dining/lounge area, an old-style Irori fireplace and both public and reservable private hot-spring baths. Decorated in a clean zen style, the air-conditioned rooms at Fujiya look on out green mountains and have a low table with floor cushions. Green tea, a Yukata robe, a fridge and a satellite TV are provided. Each room has an en suite toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. The hotel provides free on-site parking and is a 60-minute drive from the scenic Kamikochi area. It is also a 60-minute drive from JR Takayama Train Station. A Japanese garden with a koi pond is on site, and guests can reserve a hot-spring bath for private use free of charge. Breakfast and dinner both feature a set menu of Japanese cuisine. Meals are served at the Hyakusho Zashiki common room.
