Information about Camp Ripan

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan is a 10-minute walk from Kiruna city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, in-room flat-screen TVs and traditional, seasonal Swedish and Sami food. Parking is free on site. Spread across 3 buildings, Ripan’s cosy, chalet-style rooms have private entrances and bathrooms with showers. Many offer kitchenettes and convenient private ski storage. Restaurant Ripan features local Nordic ingredients including reindeer and fish. A sauna and relaxation area can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include Tvättjärnsbadet Aqua Park, horse riding and bike rentals. Camp Ripan is certified as an environmentally friendly hotel.

Please note that daily cleaning is possible at an additional cost from 1 June until 31 August. Spa opening hours vary according to season. Children are allowed during certain hours.
