SightsThe village is a state-recognized spa. Place of interest in Bernkastel is the medieval market square with its houses with half-timbered gables dating from the 17th Century, among which stands out pointed house Spitzhäuschen, coming from the 1416. Michael's fountain from 1606 with many other preserved buildings and Renaissance town hall from 1608 adorn the city. In the local part of Bernkastel lie the ruins of Landshut Castle, former summer residence of the archbishops of Trier, which was destroyed by fire in 1692. Also worth seeing the Graacher Tor, the only remaining city gate. The surrounding countryside is well known for wine growing.

Schwedt on the Oder is the most populous city in the district Uckermark in northeastern part of Brandenburg.
SightsYou will find here the former hunting lodge Monplaisir, the Evangelical Church of St. Catherine, Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Jewish ritual bath, the Jewish cemetery and the water tower. The tile on the Harlanstrasse reminds the pogrom in November 1938 and the destruction of synagogues in the Jewish community. Between the Oder and Hohensaaten-Friedrichsthaler Wasserstrasse is a natural floodplain landscape rich in flora and fauna, which is very rare in Central Europe. This area was declared a National Park Lower Odra Valley (Nationalpark Unteres Odertal) in 1995. Oder center is a big shopping center in Schwedt.
