Schwäbisch Gmünd is a town in eastern Baden-Württemberg, which is located about 50 km east of Stuttgart. It is the second largest town in the district Ostalbkreises.
Schwäbisch GmündSchwäbisch Gmünd is a well-preserved old town with many historical buildings. The churches and monasteries above all, in addition to the secular buildings, characterize the old appearance of the current town. The landmark of Schwäbisch Gmünd is the Holy Cross Cathedral, which was designed by Heinrich Parler in Gothic style in the 14th century.

Velbert is a large district town belonging to a county Mettmann, which is approximately 20 kilometers northeast of the North Rhine-Westphalia´s capital Düsseldorf, 18 km south of Essen and 12 kilometers northwest of Wuppertal on the left side of the Ruhr river in Germany.
