Friedberg is a town in the district Wetteraukreis in the federal country of Hesse. The city is situated at the confluence of the Usa and Wetter rivers. In the preserved city you can see its rich past.

SightsTown Hall dominates the city. It was completed in 1512 after 25 years of construction in late Gothic style. The castle is built in Osnabrück in the Baroque style and dates from the 17th century. Tower Bucksturm served in the early 13th century as a watchtower built into the town wall. In the Middle Ages it was used as a prison. St. Peter´s Cathedral was consecrated in 785th. Osnabrück has several different theaters. There is also a puppet theater. In the town district Schölerberg there is the ZOO Osnabrück, which was opened in 1936 as a domestic zoo.
