SightsThe village is a state-recognized spa. Place of interest in Bernkastel is the medieval market square with its houses with half-timbered gables dating from the 17th Century, among which stands out pointed house Spitzhäuschen, coming from the 1416. Michael's fountain from 1606 with many other preserved buildings and Renaissance town hall from 1608 adorn the city.
