Trier is a significant West German city located in Rhineland-Palatinate,in the district of the same name Trier. The city is considered the oldest city located in Germany. Local Roman monuments are UNESCO World Heritage. Trier is situated in the enlarged part of the Mosel valley. Slopes partly covered with forests and vineyards, rising in the south to Highlands Eifel and Highlands Hunsrück in the north. The city has several theaters and museums. The musical festivals are also hold here.
