The westernmost point of the Baltic Sea is located at the west, in the end of the city of Flensburg. The northernmost point of the Baltic Sea is located on the Swedish-Finnish border on the Gulf of Bothnia. Its easternmost point in St. Petersburg in Russia and its southernmost point, the Baltic Sea represents the southern end of the Szczecin Lagoon in Szczecin.

Bad Dürkheim is a spa and county town in the metropolitan region Rhine-Neckar on the edge of the Pfälzerwaldes (Palatinate Forest). It is the seat of the district Bad Dürkheim. Bad Dürkheim is located on the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest on the German Wine Road, about 30 km east of Kaiserslautern, and about 20 km west of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. Approximately 15 km south of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Through Bad Dürkheim run the federal highways 37 and 271. From west to east the Isenach river flows through the city.
