Information about Lochend Serviced Apartments

Lochend Apartments are a complex of 42 serviced apartments, situated 1.6 miles from Edinburgh Princes Street, 1.4 miles from Edinburgh Playhouse and less than a mile from Leith Ocean Terminal/Royal Yacht Britannia. Each apartment features free WiFi and free Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels. Each apartment has a kitchen/dining area, with washing machine/tumble dryer, cooking facilities and a fridge. They each have a lounge with a fireplace and a TV with Freeview channels. A breakfast starter pack with tea/coffee and cereal is provided on the day of check-in, and there are 2 supermarkets just 2 minutes’ walk away. The Lochend Serviced Apartments also contain fold away beds as an extra bed option. The 34 bus stops outside Lochend Serviced Apartments and takes about 10 minutes to reach Edinburgh city centre and Waverley Rail Station. Edinburgh Royal Yacht Britannia is around 10 minutes in the opposite direction.

Please note Lochend Apartments do not have a luggage storage facility. Please note that check-in after 17:00 needs to be arranged with Lochend Serviced Apartments at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Failing to do so may result in a surcharge. Lochend Apartments office hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday and 10:00-17:00 Saturday-Sunday. When you approach the complex, please enter by taking a right after you see the sign for Bethleham Way. You will see the Lochend Serviced Apartments sign on the grass, pointing to reception (main door 149, then apartment door 1). Please note that full payment will be taken on the day of arrival, using the card details provided when booking. Failure to do so can result in cancellation of the booking. Please bring with you the card which was used to make the booking and ID when checking in. If you require to use a different card please contact the hotel prior check in. Please let the property know in advance if you are bringing a pet. A surcharge of GBP 20 per pet per night applies, 2 pets maximum. A suitable apartment can be allocated. If the property is not informed in advance, a higher surcharge will apply or your booking may be refused. Please note that this property cannot accommodate stag or hen parties. A refundable deposit of GBP 50 per person will be charged on check-in (only children of up to 12 years old are exempt). This deposit will be charged with no exceptions in a single transaction to cover damages and breakages. This can be done by card or in cash. The property reserves the right to withhold some or all of the security deposit of the credit/debit card provided in case of any damage, guest misconduct, excessive electricity usage, and breaches to regulations such as smoking in the rooms. Security deposits may also be used by management in the event of unauthorised extra guests using the room and facilities. Security deposits held on a credit card (via a pre-authorisation) or charged to a debit card will be refunded as per the issuing bank’s policy. Typically this may take 3-10 working days however, some banks do take longer. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. A security deposit of GBP 50 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
