Information about YHA London Thameside

In leafy Rotherhithe, this YHA hostel is just a few metres from the banks of the Thames, 10 minutes’ walk from Rotherhithe Overground station or 15 minutes from Canada Water Tube Station. It has an on-site café/bar and restaurant and 24-hour reception. Most of the YHA London Thameside’s rooms contain bunk beds, and all have bathroom facilities. With bright décor, some rooms have a TV, with bed linen provided. The O2 Arena is a 5-minute Tube journey, whilst the stylish bars and restaurants of Canary Wharf are 1 Tube stop away. The South Bank, with London Bridge and theatres, is 2 miles away along the river. Pastries, savoury snacks and drinks are on offer at Quays café/bar, and the Traders Gallery restaurant has a varied menu. There is also a TV lounge and free luggage storage.

From January to March 2017, YHA London Thameside will be undergoing important works to refurbish the bedrooms and social areas. The property will try to keep disruption to a minimum, but guests may experience some disruption during this period. All guests must show a valid photo ID upon check-in. Driver’s license, passport, student ID or similarly recognised national identity cards are accepted. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own. All bookings for more than 16 people will not be accepted by YHA and will be cancelled. Please note this property does not charge an additional temporary membership fee. Discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or IYHF as part of this booking. All bookings of more than 14 nights will not be accepted and will be cancelled. Additional consecutive bookings will also be cancelled. Group bookings: All bookings for 17 people or more cannot be accepted by YHA.
