Deze traditionele, onlangs gerenoveerde familieherberg ligt in het hart van het “Waldheimat“ (boshuis) van Peter Rosegger in Boven-Stiermarken en wordt omgeven door het bosrijke landschap van de Fischbacher Alpen. Het Roseggerhof biedt nieuwe, smaakvol ingerichte kamers, gezellige loungeruimtes, de Rosegger-bibliotheek, een speeltuin voor kinderen en een tafeltennistafel. Het restaurant serveert zowel hartige, traditionele gerechten als lichte maaltijden. Er worden ook gerechten voor kinderen en speciale dieetmaaltijden aangeboden. Maaltijden voor mensen met bepaalde gezondheidsklachten zijn op aanvraag verkrijgbaar. De huisgemaakte strudels zijn zeer populair. Het huis van de bekende 19e-eeuwse dichter uit Stiermarken, Peter Rosegger, biedt vele culturele bezienswaardigheden en sportieve en recreatieve mogelijkheden. Er liggen 2 skigebieden in de directe omgeving van het Roseggerhof. In de wintermaanden kunnen gasten genieten van langlaufen, curling of een ritje in een door paarden getrokken arrenslee maken. Daarnaast worden er sneeuwschoenwandelingen aangeboden en kunt u in de zomer wandelen door de bergen, fietsen en nordic walking beoefenen.
