Dette hotellet åpnet sine dører for første gang i 1927, da oldefaren til den nåværende eieren først åpnet kjøkkenet for offentligheten. Det var da hotellet startet sin kulinariske tradisjon. Hotellet er en rustikk landhytte med en praktisk beliggenhet bare noen minutter unna Girona flyplass og lavbergene ved fjellkjeden Guillerias og naturreservatet Montseny. Det ligger 20 km unna Girona og Lloret de Mar.
