Het kasteel in Franse renaissance-stijl werd gebouwd in 1887 door Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, om zijn schitterende collectie 18e-eeuwse kunstschatten te huisvesten. Het heeft ook een volière, wijnkelders en een van de mooiste Victoriaanse tuinen in Groot-Brittannië. Elke kamer is voorzien van antiek en originele stukken uit Waddesdon Manor.
