Split is by far the largest Dalmatian city and the second-largest city of Croatia. Split is also one of the oldest cities in the area. While it is traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old counting from the construction of Diocletian''s Palace in AD 305, archaeological research relating to the original founding of the city as the Greek colony of Aspálathos in the 6th century BC, establishes the urban tradition of the area as being several centuries older.

Split Airport is also known as the Resnik Airport and is the third largest airport in Croatia.

Privlaka is a village in northern Dalmatia in southern Zadar in Croatia. It lies 18 kilometers north of of the city Zadar.

The oldest city in Croatia, Nin, is located 5.5 km. It has 2988 inhabitants and is a popular place for tourism and fishing. The most holiday families come mainly from Germany, Austria and Italy.

Popular for tourists is the large sandy beach in Privlaka, which attracts guests with its beach bars. Shallow water mud is considered to be good medicine for chronic diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis or asthma.

Rijeka is the principal seaport and the third largest city in Croatia. Historically, because of its strategic position and its excellent deep-water Port of Rijeka, the city was fiercely contested, especially between Italy, Hungary, and Croatia, changing hands and demographics many times over centuries.

Rijeka is the center of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in Croatia. The city''s economy largely depends on shipbuilding and maritime transport. Rijeka hosts the Croatian National Theatre as well as the University of Rijeka, founded in 1973 but with roots dating back to 1632. By ferry you can get from Rijeka to another croatian seaports as Split or Dubrovnik.
