The seaside town Warnemünde is the northern part of a Hanseatic city Rostock in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. River Varnava flows here into the Baltic Sea. Warnemünde has the largest sandy beach on the German Baltic coast. They are suitable for kite surfing, surfing, windsurfing, diving and swimming.
