Information about JA Manafaru

On the northern-most Haa Alif private island, JA Manafaru provides luxurious beach and over-water villas with private outdoor pools and free WiFi. An on-site PADI dive centre, 3 additional outdoor pools and pampering spa treatments are available. The property is spread over 35 acres of peaceful white sandy beach, and is accessible by either sea plane or domestic flight transfers from Male. Spacious and air-conditioned, all villas are equipped with a flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine and a pillow menu. The over-water villas enjoy panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. En suite bathrooms come with a relaxing rainshower, and some have a spa bathtub. JA Manafaru is a 30-minute boat ride from beautiful snorkelling sites. It takes 70 minutes via sea plane to get to the resort from Male International Airport, which is about 320 km away. The beachfront Ocean Grill offers sizzling grilled meats and lobster buffets. Premium wine and cheese are available at The Cellar, located underground. Other dining options include international dishes at Kakuni Restaurant, home-made pizzas at the pool-side Andiamo Bistro and Pool, tapas at Horizon Lounge and Asian food at the exclusive Infinite bar and Pool. Traditional Maldivian cuisine is also served at Kakuni Village. The resort provides a mandatory transfer by seaplane from Male. Guests must provide their arrival details to the hotel in advance, at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time at the lounge, or overnight stays in Male at your own cost. Guests arriving at Maldives on an international flight after 15:00 or departing the island before 09:30 will require an overnight stay in Male (at own expenses) and will be transferred the next morning on the first available flight.
