Yufuin Hanayoshi offers accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Mount Yufu. Guests can refresh in the public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and request massages for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from JR Yufuin Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00 each day. The air-conditioned rooms feature a spacious seating area with a low table, seating cushions and a TV. Japanese Yukata robes and toothbrush sets are provided for all guests. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Local products can be purchased at the souvenir shop and drink vending machines are on-site. Photocopying services and luggage storage is provided at the front desk. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. All meals are served at the dining room. Hanayoshi Yufuin Ryokan is a 30-minute drive from the foot of Mount Yufu and a 10-minute drive from Oike Spring Group. In order to prepare special amenities for men and women, guests are kindly requested to indicate the gender of each guest staying in the room in the Special Requests box when booking. There are no restaurants in the property vicinity, and guests staying with room only rates or breakfast plans are advised to either have dinner before checking in, or bring their meals to the property. If guests wish to add diner to their plan, reservations must be made at least 1 day prior to arrival. Otherwise, meals cannot be prepared. The property buildings are separated into 2 areas, Hanayoshi Area and Yumenosato Area. Guests staying in a group are recommended to book rooms in the same area in order to eat dinner together in the same dining facility. Please note that each dining space is partitioned but not completely private. Requests for a specific unit or dining facility cannot be accepted. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
